The project is a 2800 sqft residence in a north -facing plot of size 25′ x 50′ in Velachery for Mr.Suresh and Ms.Geetha. The sketches below show the process of design development.
The core concept of the project was to arrive a permeable and overflowing living spaces within the narrow plot. 
The idea of split levels was worked out in such a way that the living and the family rooms are connected visually and both have double- height spaces to enhance the spatial volumes.
Various facade options were explored. The primary concerns were to provide various levels of privacy for different rooms and to bring down the scale of the building both the floors were tied together in the facade.
The project was a learning experience in solving the transitions between different levels and the intersection of volumes
